About the Logo :-

  • Moon (Chandra) : The Mahishyas belong to chandravanshiya kshatriya clan. Chandra or Moon, therefore, is depicted as the forefather of the Mahishya community.
  • The Sword : The Sword is the symbol of princedom of kshatriyas.
  • The Agricultural Land : Mahishyas are predominantly engaged in agriculture.
  • Dibyok Stambha : Divya or Dibyok a Mahishya King ruled over Bengal in eleventh century A.D. The monument was a victory tower built by Dibyok during his reign & situated at the centre of Divor-Dighi now situated in Bogura, a northern district in Bangladesh.
  • 1901 : Bangiya Mahishya Samiti was established in 1901 A.D.
